How much do your services cost?
I have a rate card you can review, but the cost of each job can vary slightly from client to client due to the requirements of the creative brief.

Do you charge a flat rate or hourly fee?
Typically it depends on the project. If it is solely creative, a flat rate is given.
If the project is more production based than an hourly rate can be assigned.

How does the process begin and what can I expect?
An initial consultation starts the process, and I begin to collect data into a creative brief. That’s where we will capture and develop how the project will flow (including time lines and two rounds of changes to every project).  In the end, you will receive the final art files to archive or for a nominal fee I can archive them for future updates. Art files will not be handed over to print or to you until payment has been arranged. Fifty percent is what my contract requires in order to ensure we will be working together on a project.

I keep an ongoing pdf and collection of my work in my design portfolio. Please feel free to review if you are curious about the quality or breadth of my work.

How much time will my job take?
Please review my rate card for estimated cost and number of days/turnaround for most of my jobs. If there is missing information or additional research involved, the project may extend past the estimated time. I will do my best to meet your deadlines, please take into account any additional rounds of changes or acts of god.

How do you accept payment?
Paypal; payment can be sent to jlhughes@cleisdesign.com. Checks are also accepted. I invoice monthly, so as soon as an invoice is sent out, please have payment fulfilled within 30 days or less.
